Lib Dem win in Labour heartland

The Liberal Democrats were celebrating in Chepstow last week, after a landslide victory in a by-election to elect a new town councillor in St Christopher’s Ward, Bulwark. Local community volunteer Tony Redhead was elected in the Labour heartland on Thursday 18th February, with over 60 per cent of vote. The day had produced almost blizzard conditions, with heavy snow falling for several hours.
