Sudden death of local woman

THE SUDDEN DEATH of a well known local woman has shocked her community in Usk, as well as the many people across Monmouthshire who knew her and her family.
Sixty-year-old Kris Mitchell died suddenly on Saturday after feeling unwell.
She was a clerk to a number of local community councils, and was the wife of Jeff Mitchell, former mayor of Usk, county councillor to the Trellech ward, and a well-known business man in Monmouth.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 9th February, 2.30pm at St. Mary's Church, Usk, followed by a burial at Gwent Crematorium.
